Pricing
Each order is priced based on various factors, including:
-Ingredients and materials
-Time and expertise required
-Complexity and difficulty
Ingredients
Please note that the following factors may affect our products:
-Ingredient availability: Prices may vary due to seasonal fluctuations or high demand.
-Colour choices: Certain colours (e.g., red, black) may alter the taste of buttercream, chocolate or glazes, as achieving vivid hues requires significant colouring.
We will inform you of these considerations when you place your order.
Deposits/ Payments
To secure your order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when placing an order. Please note that we cannot fulfill orders without this deposit. No deposit = no order confirmation.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances; we will provide a full refund.
Balance payment is due upon pick up, no exceptions. If paying the balance by e-transfer the customer is responsible for ensuring that the payment is made prior to pick up. Payment must be received prior to product release.
Note: Please allow sufficient time for E-transfer processing to avoid delays.
Orders
To ensure that we can accommodate your order, please provide at least 3 days notice for smaller orders, and 1-2 weeks’ notice for larger orders.
Custom Orders
For custom orders, the more notice, the better! Providing ample time allows us to:
-Source specialty materials (e.g., unique stamps, specific colours and flavorings)
-Ensure ingredient availability and quality.
-Plan and prepare for your unique creation.
While we require 3 days notice for smaller orders and 1-2 weeks for larger orders, additional notice for custom orders helps up deliver your vision perfectly.
Pick up/ Late Fees
We provide designated pickup times for your convenience. However, we understand that sometimes these times may not work for everyone. Whenever possible, we happily accommodate alternative pickup times to suit your needs.
As a small business, we value your time and strive to have your order ready at the agreed-upon time. Similarly, we appreciate your respect for our schedule. Adhering to designated pick-up times is crucial for our operations, allowing us to:
-Manage multiple orders efficiently
-Fulfill commitments to other customers
-Maintain a smooth workflow
Just as we prioritized preparing your order for the scheduled time, we kindly expect you to arrive promptly. Your cooperation ensures our business runs seamlessly.
To accommodate unexpected delays, we offer a 15-minute grace period from the start of your scheduled pick-up time. If you arrive later than this:
-16-30 minutes late: $10.00 fee
-31-60 minutes late: $20.00 fee
- Over 1 hour late, we reserve the right to resell your order, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
By respecting our schedule pickup times, you help us continue providing excellent service and quality products. Thank you for your cooperation.
Delivery
We provide delivery services to select locations for an additional fee. The delivery fee is calculated based on the round-trip distance from our location to yours. The fee is:
-$.80/km (round trip) or $10.00 minimum, whichever is greater.
Product Responsibility Transfer/Product Care and Handling
Once your order is picked up and, in your possession, responsibility for the product transfers to you. We are no longer liable for damage or issues related to the product.
To ensure the longevity and quality of your purchase, we provide product care instructions. It is the customers responsibility to follow these guidelines.
Photography/Customer privacy/Reviews
At Freshly Baked Happiness, we love showcasing our creations! Here is how we handle photography, privacy and reviews:
-We photograph all our creations for portfolio and marketing purposes.
-All photos remain the property of freshly baked happiness
-We reserve the right to share photos on social media, our website, and other marketing channels.
Customer Privacy
We prioritize your privacy. We will never share photos featuring customers without their permission.
If you have specific requests or concerns regarding photo sharing, please inform us while placing your order.
Allergen Notice and Disclaimer
Freshly Baked Happiness products are made with love but may contain common allergens. Our ingredients may include dairy, gluten, soy, and tree nuts, sourced from suppliers who process these allergens. Although we maintain a clean baking environment, cross contamination is possible. We cannot guarantee our products are safe for individuals with severe allergies. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge understanding of these allergens and risks, and release Freshly Baked Happiness from liability.
